Recently, I just reinstalled Sims 1 after losing my hard drive (read more about my sob story here). Well, whenever you reinstall the game, you always get a chance to play the tutorial that starts off with Bob and Betty Newbie. I figured, “What the hell. Let’s screen cap and put this up on YouTube,” so I did.

If you have Sims 1, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that if you have Windows 7, you’ll be able to install the game with no problem, but you won’t be able to run it. The good news is that there’s a fix. (Yay!) Read more to find out what it is.

Hey! Did you know that for years now, fans of the Sims have been creating publications based around their favorite game? Yup! That’s right!
Although these publications are produced by amateurs who are just doing this all as a hobby, you’d be amazed at how slick, professional and well made they are. In fact, some are so well done, if you didn’t know any better, you’d think you had picked up a copy of Architectural Digest or Vogue Magazine instead!
